EXCITING TIMES IN THE WORKPLACE

The Inflow project was presented at the World of Learning Conference in Birmingham in November 2007 to show examples of the ways in which the recognition, validation and accreditation of Informal Learning in the workplace can motivate staff in a number of ways.
Included in this presentation, as an example of innovative practice, was the use of theatre in staff meetings at the Palatin Hotel in Wiesloch, Germany. This acting out of key issues in a supportive and fun environment has resulted in both learning, contributions to quality management procedures and increased motivation in staff.
